David Zitting - President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
One of PRMI’s founding partners, Dave is an optimistic, persuasive, and innovative individual who has used these traits, his experience as a Loan Originator, and his in-depth market knowledge to guide PRMI in becoming one of the most respected residential mortgage lenders in the country.
As CEO, Dave is responsible for determining and executing PRMI’s strategic direction and for developing partnerships within the mortgage industry.
Prior to starting PRMI, Dave enjoyed a decade-long career as a professional Loan Originator.
Mr. Zitting currently resides in Salt Lake City, Utah, with his wife, Tracy, and two children. He enjoys many outdoor activities including skiing, hunting, fishing, mountain biking, and tennis.
Steve Chapman - Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Steve has been with PRMI as CFO since the company started in 1998 and has been instrumental in ensuring the company’s continued financial health.
As PRMI’s CFO, Steve manages the company’s accounting and financial structure and operations. Among his responsibilities, he directs daily warehouse bank activities, oversees interactions with investors, and supervises yearly financial and HUD audits.
Prior to joining PRMI, Steve worked as an Operations Manager in the Credit Card Division of Bank of America, and at Heartland Mortgage Services, Inc. as their Controller and Warehouse Manager.
Tom George - Executive Vice President and Chief Production Officer
As Executive Vice President and Chief Production Officer, Tom’s deep understanding of the company’s operations is unparalleled. In this capacity, he oversees all areas of day-to-day operations at PRMI and its affiliates to ensure safe business practices and continued profitability.
Joining the company shortly after it started in 1998, Tom worked as a Loan Originator and as the Manager and Vice President of Business Development before being promoted to Executive Vice President.
Prior to PRMI, he was the Vice President/Coordinator for Associated Charter Catalog and the National Jewelers Alliance, where he supervised more than 500 independent jewelers and the corporate offices.
Tom holds a Utah Principal Lending Manager License, Utah Licensed Loan Originator Certificate, Continuing Education State Law Certificate relating to Mortgage, HUD Approved Fair Lending Certificate, and Employment Law Seminar Certification.
Tom and his wife, Kelley, have three sons, three grandsons, and a granddaughter. He enjoys working with youth sports and playing golf.
Burton Embry - Executive Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer
H. Burton Embry is responsible for the company’s risk, regulatory and compliance management programs.
Burton has more than 40 years in the financial and mortgage banking industry with more than 35 of those years focusing on mortgage compliance and quality assurance matters, He has become a nationally recognized compliance leader in the mortgage industry having been a successful regulatory compliance executive for industry leading mortgage lending companies such as GE Capital Mortgage, Banc One Financial Services, NationsCredit and Franklin American Mortgage Company. Burton is the president and a member of the board of directors of the Mortgage Compliance Professionals Association of America and is a member of the Mortgage Compliance Magazine Advisory Board. Burton is an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) Legal Issues and Regulatory Compliance Committee where he formerly served as the Chair of the Regulatory Compliance Subcommittee(2013-2015), He is an active member of the State Legislative and Regulatory Committee and the Quality Assurance subcommittee of the Mortgage Bankers Association, and the Mortgage Quality & Compliance Committee of the California Mortgage Bankers Association.
Burton often speaks at meetings and conferences about industry issues related to loan officer compensation, mortgage loan originator licensing and state and CFPB examination practices and developments as well as other general compliance matters.
He has published articles in industry publications such as National Mortgage News, Scotsman Guide, and National Mortgage Professional Magazine.
Ruth Green - Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer
Ruth works in tandem with Chris Jones (President, Retail) to provide direction and oversight for all areas of the company. Her focus is on improving the quality of service and product in the organization through effective management, communication, and implementation of new technologies
Ruth has added her talents to PRMI for more than 10 years. She has held numerous positions in the company, including Underwriter, Training Manager, and Vice President of Business Relations. Green joined the company with five years of experience in the mortgage industry as a Loan Originator and Processor.
Mrs. Green currently resides in Salt Lake City, Utah, with her husband, Pat, and four children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, camping, skiing, and backpacking.
Chris Jones - President, Retail
Chris joined PRMI in 2008 following an eleven-year career with GE Capital. As President of Retail, Chris leads all aspects of the organization’s retail production channel including oversight of its branch locations nationwide, growth planning and execution, the definition of strategic priorities, and organizational communication and engagement.
During his professional career, Chris has held positions in Lean Six Sigma Management, Finance Management, and Management Consulting, utilizing this experience to provide executive leadership with a special focus on business growth, operational excellence, process innovation, and financial analysis to optimize business performance and profitability for both PRMI and its Branch Partners.
Chris has a degree in Finance from Brigham Young University and an MBA from The University of Utah.
Originally from Houston, Texas, Mr. Jones now resides in Draper, Utah with his wife, Kristin, and three children. Outside of work, Chris’ interest includes tennis, boating, any activity on the water, and playing great golf courses.
AJ Swope - Executive Vice President of Secondary Marketing
AJ works with a team of talented individuals overseeing program administration, pipeline management, and business technology strategy. His focus is on quality data, cost reduction, customer focus, and profit enhancement for our partners.
With more than 17 years of experience in the mortgage industry, including the last six years at PRMI, A.J. spent two years in San Diego, California, as a Product Manager for the DataTrac Program and Pricing suite at Del Mar Database. He has also worked as an Assistant Secondary Manager at New Century Mortgage; a Pricing Specialist at Crossland Mortgage Corp; the Secondary Marketing Supervisor at FirstPlus Freedom Mortgage; and a Secondary Marketing Analyst at CMG Funding Corporation.
Mr. Swope currently resides in Lehi, Utah, with his wife, Laurie, and four children. He enjoys photography and being outdoors, including hunting and fly fishing.
Darryl Lee - Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer
Darryl has been representing PRMI as its outside General Counsel for over fifteen years while a partner with the law firms of Wood Jenkins and Kirton McConkie. After returning from a service opportunity in Italy, Darryl joined PRMI in April 2015 to create a legal department within the company.
As PRMI’s General Counsel, Darryl manages the company’s litigation, and advises all levels of management regarding legal risks and proactive approaches to minimize risk. Darryl reviews contracts and assists senior management in negotiating key contracts, leases and other agreements.
Prior to joining PRMI, Darryl practiced law for 35 years in major law firms in Washington, D.C. and San Francisco. He also served as Associate General Counsel for Thiokol Corporation, and General Counsel for its Space Operations. During his time with Thiokol, Darryl managed all the legal fallout from the 1986 Challenger Space Shuttle disaster.
Darryl holds a Juris Doctor degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, and an MBA from the University of Utah.
Originally from Concord, California, Darryl now resides in North Salt Lake with his wife, Bonnie. He has five children, all married, and fifteen grandchildren. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, tennis, cooking and live theater.
